Why should I choose a member of the Central Wisconsin Home Builders Association?

An important indicator of professionalism is whether the contractor belongs to a builders association or other professional groups. Becoming a dues-paying member of such groups usually means that the contractor is an established member of the community. In addition, trade associations encourage research to develop materials, new building techniques, new building equipment and improved methods of home financing so that home buyers may receive the greatest possible value for their money.

How do I obtain a list of CWHBA members?

CWHBA annually publishes a membership directory listing more than 200 company members related to the home building industry. This is a great resource if you are looking for a builder, remodeler or subcontractor. Check out the online directory or email us and we’ll send you a complimentary Directory.

Why Belong to the Central Wisconsin Home Builders Association?

• Profit in Group Activities where you learn more about your business by participating in your association's activities.

• Improve your business through the information available in publications that you receive and the exchange of ideas at meetings, seminars, and the NAHB Convention-Exposition.

• Increase business contacts; every contact you make is a potential asset to yourself and your business.

• Be better informed on what is being done in the housing industry, the second largest industry in the United States.

• Further your own industry. "Every man owes a part of his time and money to the business or industry in which he is engaged. No man has the moral right to withhold his support from an organization that is striving to improve conditions within his sphere (Theodore Roosevelt)."

• Acquire the prestige of membership in a known and respected association that is frequently called upon for assistance and recommendations by civic and governmental agencies.

• Support your industry's organization. Standing alone, you are a voice in the dark, but by joining other members of the team, you will be amazed at what can be accomplished.

• No man is an island. Yes, you and your ideas, help, and suggestions are needed to build a stronger association, which in turn, gives you stronger representation at the city, county, state, and national levels.

• Lend your stature to help housing grow and prosper as an industry and a profession.

Cost To Join

Dues of $405 are paid on an annual basis and must be submitted with the Application for Membership.
